Overview
The Department of Agro-Technology at the University of Colombo Institute for Agro-Technology and Rural Sciences is a well-established unit and it is maintaining high academic standards in the discipline of Agro-Technology. The Department is functioning from 2008 with the start of Bachelor of Agro-Technology Degree Program. The department has taken a conscious effort to include in its teaching programs, courses that cover the newest developments in the Agro-Technology. In addition, the department caters the research & development needs of the industrial sector through the University Business Linkage, University of Colombo.
